At Quantion, we believe that talent in Artificial Intelligence is a highly valuable strategic asset. That’s why we’ve already welcomed two graduates from the first cohort of the Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence in Catalonia, aligned with our commitment to leading the company’s technological transformation from within.

These new specialists stand out not only for their ability to naturally integrate AI into projects, but also for their talent in bringing fresh and innovative ideas that help strengthen AI-driven developments. As our Area Director, Rafa Giménez, notes:

“We’re very pleased with their ability to adapt. They come well-prepared and bring highly valuable knowledge to tackle our future challenges.”

Our growth strategy at Quantion is based on attracting and developing profiles like these, which we consider essential to adapt to the profound transformation that Artificial Intelligence is already driving across markets. In fact, we plan to bring on more AI specialists in the coming months, depending on project evolution and client demand.

Eva Sarabia, one of our newest team members, joined Quantion during her internship and decided to continue her career with us.

“I joined through an internship and decided to stay because I saw that here AI is applied in a real and practical way. What I learned in my degree makes sense and becomes tangible when you can use it to solve real problems. It’s very rewarding to see that what I studied doesn’t just stay in theory,” explains Eva.

“I believe we bring up-to-date knowledge of new techniques and tools, as well as a realistic view of AI. It’s very popular right now and sometimes gets overhyped, but education teaches you when it truly makes sense to apply it and when it doesn’t. That perspective, along with our eagerness to experiment, complements the experience of more senior teams very well,” she adds.

Daniel Cejas, also an AI graduate, highlights the opportunity to be part of an environment that fosters growth and practical application of knowledge.

“What most motivated me to join Quantion was the chance to be part of a growing company that allows me to apply in the real world the knowledge I’ve gained over the past few years. After so much time studying, I was eager to put everything I’ve learned into practice.”

As a sign of the relevance and visibility of this educational project in AI, TVE Catalunya recently featured a news report on the Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence in Catalonia, highlighting and interviewing some of its first graduates — including our colleague Eva Sarabia, who shared her vision as a young engineer and AI graduate, and Rafa Giménez, who represented Quantion by emphasizing the importance of integrating AI talent into companies.

This kind of media coverage reinforces the idea that young AI specialists — and the Artificial Intelligence talent they represent — are emerging professionals whose training is already attracting public interest and professional recognition.

Market context: demand, gap, and opportunities

Recent market analyses reveal the growing urgency to incorporate AI talent:

  • 70% of companies are seeking AI-specialized profiles, but only 20% manage to find qualified talent.

  • In Spain, accumulated investment in Artificial Intelligence since 2020 exceeds €2 billion, placing the country fifth in Europe.

  • Regarding adoption, 70% of Spanish organizations report economic benefits or cost savings from applying AI, and 77% state that their productivity has improved thanks to this technology.

  • In the field of Generative AI, 72% of Spanish companies plan to increase their investment over the next year, according to Deloitte.

  • From an educational standpoint, forecasts suggest that until 2030, there will continue to be a gap between supply and demand for professionals in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, meaning many positions will remain unfilled. (Source: El País)

These figures clearly show that demand for these profiles often far exceeds supply. Moreover, several experts warn that the introduction of Artificial Intelligence is redefining professional roles: some repetitive tasks can be automated, while demand grows for professionals capable of designing, supervising, and contextualizing intelligent systems. At Quantion, we see this transformation as an opportunity. We’re committed to those who already integrate AI as part of their mindset and workflow — like the graduates who have recently joined our team.

The pace at which we expand our team will depend on the projects we secure and client demand, but our roadmap is clear: to continue adding young professionals with strong AI skills in order to consolidate a competitive advantage in this field as soon as possible.
